  Opinions on strengthening and improving the construction of teachers’ morality and style in the new era

  In order to conscientiously implement the "Implementation Outline of Citizen Moral Construction in the New Era", further promote the implementation of the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Teachers’ Team Construction in the New Era", and comprehensively improve teachers’ ideological and political quality and professional ethics, we now put forward the following opinions on strengthening and improving the construction of teachers’ morality and style in the new era.

  First, the overall requirements for strengthening the construction of teachers’ morality and style

  1. Guiding ideology. Guided by the Supreme Leader’s Socialism with Chinese characteristics Thought in the New Era, we should thoroughly study and implement the important exposition of the Supreme Leader’s General Secretary on education and the spirit of the National Education Conference, regard the effectiveness of moral education as the fundamental criterion for testing all the work of the school, regard teachers’ morality and style as the first criterion for evaluating the quality of the teaching staff, run the socialist core values through the whole process of building teachers’ morality and style, strictly regulate the system, strengthen daily education supervision, and increase the protection of teachers’ rights and interests. Advocate the whole society to respect teachers and attach importance to teaching, encourage teachers to strive to become "four haves" good teachers, and strive to cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty.

  2. Basic principles

  Second, comprehensively strengthen the ideological and political work of teachers.

Carry forward Chinese excellent traditional culture, revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture, cultivate scientific and technological innovation culture, and give full play to the function of culture to cultivate teachers’ morality and style. Teaching by example is more important than teaching by words, guiding teachers to carry out social practice, deeply understanding the world situation, party situation, national situation, social situation and people’s feelings, and strengthening the responsibility of educating the country and educating the people.   10. Strictly recruit and introduce teachers.   15. Strengthen the protection of rights and safeguard the professional dignity of teachers. Teachers’ dignity is inviolable.
